Boy Scouts Add Ramp and Railing to Stewart Pond Bird Blind!
The Boy Scouts from Troop 100 recently installed a ramp and railing for the bird blind at Stewart Pond. In addition, the Scouts picked up litter, seeded 2 acres and removed some brush. The City of Eugene Stream Team provided direction and equipment. What a great project!

The Birds Were Busy in the Wetlands, Wednesday, Feb . 18
The Northern Shovelers were dressed in their finest feathers at Grimes Pond......
Yellow-rumped Warblers were flycatching over the pond.....
Golden-crowned Sparrows were picking up insects on the ground......
The Juncos were taking baths......
Ruby-crowned Kinglets at Willow Creek had an eye out for spring......
