Please join WREN for a Special Wetland Wander with Karin Baitis!
Geomorphologist Karin Baitis will share her
research explaining Mt. Mazama’s relationship to the wetlands. Included
will be:
* An indoor presentation showing geologic
research methods
* Implications
for future land conservation and water quality
* A
short local field trip to identify wetland soil features, including vernal
pools, hummocks, and gilgai.

9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
